Booking Policy
This section is meant to overview and set expectations regarding booking my services. More often than not, clients wish to shop around for a photographer. This is a good thing so that they obtain the services that specifically meet their needs. However, just speaking to a photographer that you like and obtaining a verbal commitment for their services does not mean that you have booked their services. Each photographer has a different booking method and policy. The industry standard is that you are not booked until you have both signed an agreement and paid a security deposit. Booking Policy for R. Scott Campbell Photography My booking policy is as follows: To actually book or schedule a photo shoot with my services the customer needs to both sign the photography agreement (this is a sample wedding photography agreement) and put down a 50% security deposit. From time to time I will earmark or pencil in a date for a customer. This does not mean that you have booked my services, only that I've earmarked a date for you and provided I have the correct contact information, call or email them if another customer wants my services on their requested date. If I do not get a response within 24 hours I give the date to the first client who fulfills the parameters of my booking policy.
